Graun offers to the guests the possibility to go for a walk or by mountainbike trough forests, meadows, down to the valley and on mountain paths.

A popular destination is „Grauner Joch“ approachable along a comfortable timber road. The more courageous one can cross the Roen (2.116 metres) and walk to the Mendelpass. Once there was a popular health resort of the European high nobility.
Another comfortable path is the one that goes to Altenburg above Kaltern, where there is  one of the hugest high rope course you can find in South Tyrol.

There are some lakes close to Graun, where you can go for swimming and relaxing. Despite the well known Kalterersee, is the Fennberger See worthy of mention. This is one of the cleanest natural lakes in South Tyrol and is not far from Graun.
For those who want to fly at higher game there is a starting point for paraglider pilots.
Last but not least there are two climbing walls in Graun you can reach by foot and a challenging fixed rope route in Fennberg.
